Signal Strength Interference?
I've had 5G Home Internet with the Sagemcom Fast 5688W router since last summer. When I set it up, my preferred location to place the router got 3 bars. So I put it in another location and have consistently been getting 4 bars. Have never gotten 5, but it seems to do well with 4. So recently I tried the router back in my preferred spot and now am getting 4 bars, where before I only had 3.
The only change I am aware of is, there is a wooded area between my house and the tower (which I'm told is a little over a mile from my house), and when I set it up last summer, the trees were fully leafed out. Now it's winter, and the leaves are gone, with just bare branches.
So my question is, can a full leaf canopy reduce the signal strength from the tower to my house? If not, what could be the reason I'm now getting 4 bars in a location I got 3 bars about 6 months ago? ¡Gracias!

There can be many things.
In my location, i can hit 3 or 4 bars depending on the band in use. B2 lte gives slightly different results than b66 lte. Similarly n71 gives a huge difference than n41 on 5g. If (when) my gateway locks onto b2 lte with n41, i get 4 bars. When TMobile shutdls off b2 between 12:15am and 6:15 am, it either drops to SA mode, b66 lte or connects to b2 from 2.6 miles away and my gatway shows 2 bars, even if n41 is still 1200' away
