Why is T-mobile Targeting The Elderly and Oldest Accounts. What a slap in the face for 30 years!!!

I'm not over 50, but I've been with Sprint/T-Mobile for almost 30 years as well. I think the answer to your question is that they know they'll lose a few customers from this, but they are the customers who are paying less anyway, and the profit they get from this will more than make up for it. It's all about the profit. They couldn't care less about promises or guarantees. Maybe there will be some class action lawsuit 10-20 years from now and they'll settle for some pittance- they will still come out way ahead in the end. "Loyalty" doesn't seem to mean much anymore.
