no network connection
5 Topicslaptop sees my network but I can't connect
I've been trying for two weeks to get my laptop to connect to my network. Both TV, cell phone and Tablet connect just fine. My network shows up on the "available" Networks, but when I try to connect to it, I get a message saying can't connect. I checked the status of the Network and it says cannot authenticate connection. I've updatedmy Network Wi-Fi adapter & Driver, turned my T-Moble modem/router off & on, reset it, ran Windows troubleshooter and another of other "fixes" I've read on the internet and forums, but nothing seems to help. My Laptop is a 2016 HP Notebook. It has a Realtek RTL8188EE801.11bgn Wi-Fi adapter which is up to date and workingfine. I might add, I can connect to the internet just fine by using an Ethernet cable connected to my modem. But that defeats the purpose of "wireless". Good thing I don't work from home - I'd be screwed!Solved6.8KViews0likes8ComentariosT-Mobile branded phone won't connect to Excess Telecom SIM. It only works on Wi-fi.
I was given a Cat S62 T-Mobile device and it will not connect to the mobile network. It works with Wi-fi only. I have an ACP SIM card provided by Excess Telecom whom uses the T-Mobile network although T-Mobile app doesn't seem to recognize the phone number. The SIM card works in other devices and the device is reading the SIM but refuses to connect to it. I have configured the APN, reset network settings, and factory reset the device many times to no avail. I have tried several apps to get details on the SIM issue and it says the phone number and that its t-mobile but also says "network name: no connection" and "sim state: disconnected". The card works in every other phone and no other card will work in this device either. The device says "unlocked" in the settings but when I press it, it says "analyzing" and then says to restart to apply the unlock. It does this everytime I press it so I don't know if it is unlocked or not but considering Excess Telecom uses the T-Mobile network it should work anyway. Unless T-Mobile doesn't recognize Excess Telecom for there seems to be no information regarding their affiliation. I know that the previous owner of the device claimed that it didn't always have this issue so it doesn't seem to be an issue involving Cat or Bullitt Mobile for the hardware. I know it isn't Excess Telecom because the SIM works just fine in every other device. Those devices are unlocked though. This one says it is but remains T-Mobile branded. I cannot seem to get any help from T-Mobile because they don't recognize my 10 digit phone number from Excess Telecom as theirs. The default APN settings in every single phone I put this card in says T-Mobile though. And All the SIM apps say T-Mobile too. On the T-Mobile website it says ACP is provided through MetroPCS and Assurance Wireless. Nothing about Excess Telecom using their service. So does anyone know whats up with Excess Telecom and their T-Mobile SIM cards that T-Mobile doesn't recognize? Or does anyone know anything about the Cat S62 device? ??2.4KViews0likes4ComentariosT-mobile Home Internet and Cellphone Interference
I recently switched over to T-Mobile home internet. I so far have had great coverage. My only issue is I have connected it to my iPhone 14 but as soon as I disconnect from it it disrupts my regular cellphone connection. I see a "E" appear next to the bars or no bars at all. During this time I am unable to send messages or receive messages and nothing with a picture will send. Only way to resolve this is to restart my phone. Is there any solutions to this? Or has anyone experienced the same?1KViews0likes6ComentariosData Connection - Phone Call - Text Message Issues - Help
Hello. I wanted to see if anyone could provide some advice. My family member and I are on the same T-Mobile plan. They have a newer iPhone - I have a Samsung. We live in different homes. Below are some of the issues we are having. These issues occur when we are home and we are out running errands etc. Phone Call Issues When trying to make a call out: Its dead air for a few seconds and goes directly to voicemail or rings once and goes to voicemail ( Happens intermittently ) Some calls will go through, some wont. It doesn't matter what type of service the person has that we are trying to call or what type of device they have ( Happens intermittently ) Who ever calls us goes directly to voicemail without any notification that we missed a phone call. ( Happens intermittently ) Text Issues Some text messages we try to send wont send at all ( Happens intermittently ) When others send texts to us, we often don't receive them or they are delayed and it takes hours before we receive them ( Happens intermittently ) Connection In General Any and all apps have a hard time loading ( Happens intermittently ) Any and all apps malfunction. They close with errors or freeze. ( Happens intermittently ) Messaging/video chat apps wont function properly ( Happens intermittently ) Performed Troubleshooting Restarted devices Disabled Wi-Fi Disabled Wi-Fi Calling Disabled Bluetooth Disabled and Enabled data connection Double checked any settings that could have been interfering with our connection Uninstalled any newly installed apps Double checked our Network Mode is set to the correct settings On the Samsung I did notice that the SIM card status for "Mobile Network State" says "Disconnected" (I'm not sure if that is important) Both devices are updated to the most current software The iPhone has been having this issue for the past month and a half The Samsung has been having these issues for over a year I have contacted tech support about the Samsung and they fixedsomething and the issues seemed to improve but over time the issues started back up and became worse. They did not disclose what they fixedor what to do in the event of the issues coming back I'm not sure what to do or what could be causing the issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My service was actually decent for 6 months or so and now the past 2 or so months it's been on a steady decline to where it's now not even having a pulse to stay connected. Factory reset, yes. Basic reset, yes. Trying ethernet vs wifi, no different. This is absolutely the worst service I've paid for. Especially when some random support help employees read off a script and tell me my area is well within the coverage area. Also I've checked the trash can for overheating and signal dips within my house but nothing is helping. I'm just at a loss and I really hate to switch to satellite but ...grrr40Visto0likes0Comentarios
