Scammed after Survey

If you are prompted to take a customer survey for T-mobile and then offered a "free" item for participating...do NOT participate. I have recently discovered that I have been scammed for more than 3 months at $49.99 a month by Bigtakeup.com after accepting the offer and receiving a "free" flashlight! I had to cover the cost of shipping, which is how they had my credit card info. Information about this company is posted on https://www.scamdoc.com/view/674681#comment-add-success and someone there posted the same issue relating to T-mobile. My question is has anyone else experienced this issue and did you reach out to T-mobile?

I also got scammed on Dec 29, 2022 with a message from contactaht@kitgt.surveyrewards.pro

They offered a “T-mobile survey” and offered rewards (different gadgets at the cost of a shipping) around $4.95 - which in fact appeared to be a charge of $14.95 and the cards details and address sent to “Adken Tech Gadgets” and with addresses of support that looks like this.

The colors look same as T-mobile, and, being a good T-mobile sitizen, I forgot to check e-mail address from which it was sent! What a scam!!!

Clearly scams!  Always take the time to see where the e-mail or text has come from to make sure it is legitimate before clicking or responding to it.

This is a scam. You get a free gift for filling out the survey but you only have to pay the shipping.

Credit card to pay for shipping is then used to charge $150 on your account.

T-Mobile is a money grab my bill changes every month & the reps lie. So you can make a payment only for your phone to be turned off and added on fees. Going to metro I never used to have this problem with hidden fees. Trash customer service!

I sure am sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience with T-Mobile. I have been with them for years and think their customer service rates among the best out of all the mobile networks.

I have yet to talk with a rep who gave me bad advice or did not tell me my payment. Of course you need to ask them what is my final payment on my due date. They will calculate that for you. Also if you did not get the unlimited package then after you use up your data and msg's you pay for every additional 10gb of data and every msg. I do not know how many msg's but I do know that incoming counts as one and out going counts as one.

If you got slammed with political msg's and did not have unlimited msg's then your bill is going to be high.

Also every mobile network works the same way. So if your with Metro and your not getting ever changing bills then your probably on an unlimited plan.

Good luck in the future and have a blessed month.

  • I just received a survey stating T-Mobile was giving away iPhone and all you had to do was answer the questions within the time frame. 1 and a half minutes.

So intake the survey and after it says to choose which gift I wish to receive. Samsung S23, iPhone 16, Visa for $500, Visa for $750 Visa for 1000 ect,.

Each of these gifts were still available. Usually when I see these types of surveys the money cards are gone. I thought wow I'm first. So I fill out my info. Next thing ibknow it wants 9.95 for shipping.

I start thinking a stamp does not cost $9.95 and T-Mobile has been so awesome if this was real they would not be asking for money. So I closed it and did a search. I found you.
