2021 iPad Pro Cellular $200 promotion
As reference: https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-pro “Buy an iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular from Apple. Get $200 back from T-Mobile/Sprint. **”
More detail:
Tell me about the deal.
For a limited time, buy an iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular directly from Apple and get a $200 virtual prepaid MasterCard® after you activate your new iPad on an eligible T-Mobile or Sprint data plan.
¿Cómo puedo obtener esta promoción?
Buy an iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular directly from Apple (pay in full or pay monthly with Apple Card Monthly Installments). Within 90 days of placing your order, activate an eligible 10GB (or larger) data plan with T-Mobile/Sprint and complete the promotional application at promotions.t-mobile.com.
I bought the Wi-Fi + Cellular directly from Apple and met ALL the terms, but was unable to activate with a cellular plan, so I went to my local T-Mobile store. After paying $40 ($10 SIM fee, $30 "assisted support" fee), the iPad has been activated on a 10GB plan and shows up in my postpaid account.
HOWEVER, there is no way to enter the promo code at the T-Mobile Promotions page!! 😖 T-Mobile’s “team of experts: is clueless about the promotion, as was the local store.
So, can someone from T-Mobile here help? Or, do I just regard this as another unreal T-Mobile promotion? (In which case, I will likely dispute the so-called "assisted support" charge as services not rendered.)
ACTUALIZACIÓN: this whole experience turned into a massive fiasco.
Despite listing the 10GB plan cost at “Get 10GB for $30” on https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/affordable-data-plans, I was actually charged $47.17 on my T-Mobile bill -- with AutoPay enabled!
T-Mobile Customer Service is still clueless about the promotion described at https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-ipad/ipad-pro and attempts to use the promotion at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ still result in a "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again." message. No point in doing "Vuelve a intentar” since the promotion is unavailable.
I called and cancelled the tablet plan -- 50 minutes of my life I can never recover.
My 2¢ about this debacle: It seems that T-Mobile has been infected by the "customer no-service" culture that typified Sprint. This trend doesn't bode well for T-Mobile as a competitive disrupter in cellular or home internet service (another slow-rolling debacle of hyped marketing).

No response from T-Mobile. The biggest disappointment is that T-Mobile still doesn't educate their employees about these promotions, leading to speculation that the promos are fake when the problem is probably just management incompetence.
I had problems with a previous promotion several years ago, so shame on me for hoping T-Mobile had improved…
I plan to cancel the cellular service on the iPad.

Thanks for the suggestion!
I already chatted with Apple and was told that the next step is for T-Mobile to send an email with instructions for how to register for the promotion:
”T-mobile will be your next point of contact because this is their deal.”
So…my next step will be to call T-Mobile repetir.

I spoke to rebate department. They helped get the card and the card into my apple wallet. I got to use it today and every transaction is declined. I am livid.
Just say NO to cellular iPads. at this point I do not care if it’s Apple, T-Mobile, or the issuer (Sunrise, Northlane, whatever).

The issue is the rebate — it may as well be considered false or nonexistent.
It’s impossible to register for the rebate and NO ONE at T-Mobile can explain WHY or resolve it, none of the “service experts” are trained about its existence, none can explain how a $30 fee for a 10GB iPad plan grows to a $47 charge on my bill or why it’s impossible to add the plan directly from the iPad, requiring a store visit and yet another $40 charge.

I submitted my application and received a confirmation text that it was under review… are they denying yours?
