valencia coverage

My coverage says 5g u but I barely get lte and my calls are crap. We have three phones they all suffer the same problem. I've talked to other T-Mobile customers they say switch to Att.but I don't want Att.

  • I've used Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile in Valencia (Santa Clarita).  AT&T has fewer towers in general, and has many different bands.  T-Mobile has quite a bit of capacity here and a lot of metrocells in the north side of the city (hilly terrain).   Outside of Valencia area (Saugus/Canyon Country/Stevenson's Ranch) is where the differences are more localized.  Eg.  Stevenson's Ranch has a metrocell on AT&T, while T-Mobile's service is from a few miles away.

In the fringes of many T-Mobile areas … this is often their solution (Eg. Agua Dulce tower is +7 miles away on a mountain top).

    Is that ‘Valencia CA’ ?

Service in much of the community (not all) is better than AT&T.  I've had both, and have very few issues in Valencia CA.  Outside (Canyon Country or Agua Dulce), is another story.

Of course .. there’s always Verizon too.

  • T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon are your only choices. Dish is not there and everyone else is an MVNO running on the three carriers above.

I will also mention that compared to many towns/cities/states Valencia coverage and performance is pretty good
