New Device Activation
I have this old Sprint device I purchased, and I am trying to activate it on my line, and it wouldn't work. I can receive calls but can't make calls. Sprint said the device have to be unlocked. Please, since when does T-Mobile require Sprint devices to be unlocked before being able to use them with the network? Can anyone help?

Sprint devices are no longer compatible with T-Mobile. CDMA has been retired and T-Mobile uses a different version of VoLTE. SIM unlocking the device will not change this. Trade the device in or sell it to get something that will work with the current network.
