Porting thru the Sagemcom Fast 5688W modem
For the Sagemcom Fast 5688W, port forwarding is being blocked before getting to my Asus router. Is there an easy way to open the modem ports or DMZ or make the modem just an access point or turn off modem NAT
There is not, I'm going through the same thing now, I just upgraded to the newer style modem and still the same thing. Trying to use my own firewall as this is my backup internet but still no difference, looks like I'm going to have to buy a different mobile and pop my sim card in that unfortunately.

My research suggests t-mobile is using CGNAT, which complicates or stops porting ability, and one cannot remote log in to their account. Shared IP issues. Not sure how much more expensive a static IP or business account would be, but these have been touted as possible solutions.
