Re: G4AR firmware upgrade to 1.00.12 results in frequent lost internet connection and reboots
Same issue here. We were sent a new G4AR and it worked perfectly on firmware version 1.00.02 About 3 days ago it update to version 1.00.12 and now we are having the same signal loss and reboot issue that we had with the first modem. 100% has to be an issue with the firmware. Im considering an external antenna if it will fix the issue until an update is sent out. They seem to be slow with firmware fixes. Anyone having issues with 1.00.12 and an external antenna?14Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Internet CONSTANTLY drops
Im having the same issue. I get very bars, very good connection and very good speeds. In the past 3 days the signal has dropped probably 20-30 times at minimum. Its never down long, maybe a minute or two at the most, and comes right back with a very good signal and good speed. If this persists ill have to look into Starlink as our home is in a weird spot and to far away from other providers service poles.15Visto1like0ComentariosSignal Drops
Hello all. New to the forum's after being a home internet customer for a few months. We currently have the G4AR modem using the internal antenna. Our signal sits a 4 bars very good however we are getting several signal drops every day. The signal drops, we lose internet, the modem power cycles, and then comes back reconnected with four bars. Speeds are typically really good at 350-400mbs. I haven't reached out to support as of yet but will after posting this. I called concerning a different issue before and although they are very polite they don't seem to be very knowledgeable Should i consider an external antenna such as a waveform? If no improvement soon I will be looking to Star link as we do not have any other good option. Gracias.114Visto1like0Comentarios
