Samsung S21 Ultra Android 13 When?

13 was released a while ago now and has been in testing... So when?

  • Just got it last night!  So should get it soon

  • It's been ready and released to everyone from Samsung. If you look up Android 13 update for s21 on t mobile you will see that they have already announced that all devices are done testing and ready for the 13 updates for all of their phones except the s21s. They actually went back and changed the status of our update from being in the released state to having to retest the update. The s21s are the only phones that have been completely halted of the release.

When it's ready!  Samsung usually gets around to T-Mobile devices last.

The base of the update might be done, but there are 5 key aspects to the Samsung firmware.  The radio and Carrier bloat are just the start.  Jist because the main aspect of it is done, doesn't mean it is ready.  Samsung will push it when it is ready.

  • Samsung did push it. It's stated right on their site. That's why other carriers have already released it. The only people left to put bloat on it is the carriers. Hince why t mobile and Verizon along with their smaller sister companies have yet to release it. Pretty simple stuff that I notice you try to spin into that try to make you look like your some sort of Sammy professional that has all the low down news from the underground. (Saw you post on other questions doing the same thing.) But good luck with TMobile and trying for their employment though. Happy 🦃 day.

You can always sideload the update if you don't want to wait…  Just download the update put it on your device and load it through recovery.  It won't touch the carrier partition and everything should work.  If there are bugs that happens when it does then it may be the reason for delaying the update which the OEM has to fix.

Also Samsung pushed it for some devices but not all devices.  There's a difference…  Each carrier, and country has different requirements to meet before it's officially pushed for those specific devices.  I won't go into full detail about it.  It's been explained decades ago, but no one listens to it.  Carriers don't have control like people in the USA think they do.

oddly enough the carriers dont add the bloat..the OEM does..the carrier tells them what all needs to be added in and what changes need to be made..only thing the carrier does with the updates is tell the OEM what they want included/not included and testing whatever the OEM comes up with..if it doesnt pass TMO testing then its back to the OEM to fix whatever was found during the TMO testing..been this way since pretty much day one.
