TMobile Home Internet

My Home Internet is unusable for more than 16 hours a day. From about 7AM to Midnight the Internet slows to a crawl. It averages about 500K down or worse. Not even 1 MB down! From after midnight until morning, the speeds jump to anywhere from 25MB to 50MB. It works great. Unfortunate I sleep at night like most people. It doesn't matter where I position the device. It doesn't appear to be a connection issue, the connection shows from Good the Excellent and doesn't change from day to overnight. Same type of connection. It seems to be throttled severely during the day. Either it's severely throttled or it's WAY oversold. Does anyone else experience something like this? There's no point in continuing the service if it's unusable.

25 to 50Mbps isn't good.  When I last spoke with local T-Mobile Home Internet team 30Mbps is more of a minimum.  The 'Good/Excellent' is sometimes meaningless.

Eg.  I can  get 'Good or Excellent' on LTE B71 or B12, and speed will be similar to what you're getting.  In my area, when I get 'Excellent' my speed actually drops in ½.  Service goes from 5G n41 (lots of capacity) to n71 not so great capacity.

I’d recommend using either T-Life or T-Mobile Home Internet app to see what bands you’re using, and what the specs are in the ‘Advanced Cellular Metrics’ tab.

I agree, 25 to 50 Mbps is not good. It might not be the right service for you. Elevation, topography, buildings, distance to the tower, and user density are some things I can think of that might be unfavorable for you.

The irony in my place… 1200' from the tower,  typically good or very good.  400-600Mbps.  When 'excellent ' speed drops to 150-250Mbps as it is using n71 vs n41.
