Wifi suddenly gone bad
After the T-Mobile-sys-link WIFI's showed up my WIFI has been horrible. I'm not sure why. I checked the T-Mobile WIFI app and it said only my WIFI "TMOBILE-47D5" is the only WIFI there. Before those other WIFI'S showed up i got around 30-60 download and 2.5-5 Upload. My ping is still the same though.
The WIFI'S showed up around 5-6 days ago and honestly I just thought my WIFI was being bad so I tried waiting it out but it showed no difference. I'm not sure why this is happening but I can't do my job
I’m really considering about switching to frontier if i can’t get this fixed

I just meant you might want to try to reposition your gateway. Maybe close to a different window. Maybe in a different area of your house. This could improve the quality of the signal your gateway is receiving.

I see. Well good luck. Like I said before, their service was great. Hopefully just an easy fix

No, we're in central FL. Very rural area.

I've been having the same problem. I've reset the gateway, changed locations, everything and mine is horrible too. Does anyone know if the external antenna is worth getting?

I can't get over 1.5-2mbs. Service used to be great. They had tower maintenance around first of month and now is horrible. I've only had service with T-Mobile for a year but this is why I left my old carrier. I've reset box, multiple times, repositioned box, even took old box to local T-Mobile store and had it switched to new one. Same result. Please help. Growing incredibly frustrated. They always said they would grow customers as infrastructure grew and not believing them now!!!

Gummy,,,it could be your primary tower went down for some reason and you are now connected to an alternate tower with lower signal level. You could call TM and see what is going on.

I'm having The same problem with my T-Mobile WiFi it shut off for about an hour and when it came back on my single quality took a nose dive from great to poor and now I can't get any to stay connected

How do I change it's location? I've been wanting to do that for a while I just don't know how to.

@DXNL, In addition to the T-MOBILE network, I have four other networks created by TP Link extenders I have. However, these other networks do not slow my internet speed when I'm connected to the T-MOBILE network. All I can suggest (and you've propably done this already), if you previously had good speeds that have slowed down, is to reboot your gateway or change its location (in case that you are connecting to a different cell tower then you were before).
