Hello, I had a phsycial SIM in my old pixel 4 and bought a pixel 8 a couple months ago. It gave me the option to transfer the SIM as an ESIM to the new pixel 8. I have a prepaid 10 GB plan for $40. Today I recycled some of my old phones and I don't know if that old physical SIM was still in the phone. So could someone technically use that one to connect to my network or account ? I did wipe all the data from the phone and I think it was off for at least 6 months. I also have the sim swap protection enabled now and that port out option or whatever it is called. I remember when the switch happend the old phone did not have any network connection. I was browsingT-Mobile online to find a way toget a new SIM on my new phone. My old phone is very old and uses the old, larger, SIM format. None of the options are allowing me to keep the same phone number and getting a new number means adding an unnecessary line. "Already a T-Mobile customer, number can't be transferred to T-Mobile. We'll provide a new phone number after your purchase complete." I looked around further to and found an option to "Update device SIM" on my account dashboard which led me to the contact us page and having to call customer service due to security reasons. So, I called CS and tried to get this SIM thing going, but I could not because I'm not the Primary Account Holder. However, I am an Authorized User but that didn't cross my mind while I was speaking with CS. Is it possible to unlockthe second sim on an iPhone 14? I am looking for a second phone number with no data and T-Mobile doesn't offer a resonableplan. DIGITS won't work because I have no data service in my area. I understand the phone needs to be paid off but it doesn't make sense to pay the phone off if they are going to continuously do a promotion to keep you in a contract. I'll likely never pay a phone off while on T-Mobile so it sounds like I'd never be able to use the second sim with another provider or if I travel and want to pick up a sim. Hello - I have a need to switch between two phones - Android and IPhone both of which I own. The frequency of change depends on, but I am expecting doing so on weekly basis...Is it possible to do so? I know you canmove esim to another phone but it's not clear this can be done back and forth or only one time thing. This pertains to a brand new iPhone 14. Since yesterday, I noticed that the cellular signal on thephone fluctuating rapidly, despite remaining static in the same room. In addition, I also noted the following: After a factory reset, and selecting "keep eSIM", the cell line does not engage during the phone setup after reboot. It only reads "SOS". The cell line is present after finishing set up though. This is divergent from baseline behavior, where the cell is active and can be used for activation. The cellular service cannot access the standard T-Mobile DNS servers when a proxy app is engaged for testing. This is also different from the baseline, where DNS worked with the proxy just fine. Using external DNS servers works, oddly enough. The Apple's built in Field Test tool ( dial *3001#12345#*) shows abnormal values, such as changing LOC values, which if i understand correctly, should be unique to every cell tower. I contacted support and there wasn't much they could do and recommended I contact Apple. However, the state of the eSIM is controlled by the carrier. Is there a baseline, or reference for nominal T-Mobile cellular line values? Is it possible to return the device for another model, since the eSIM has been likely compromised in some way, from the results of my analysis? Gracias89Visto0likes1Comentario
